Shopping day

Yesterday, we bought a present for Luke (his very first scooter!), and a present for Mommy (new tennies!) At Runner's Corner where we got my shoes, they had you try on one kind of shoe on one foot, and a different shoe on the other and take them for a "test drive" around the block. Luke thought this was the greatest. He would run down the sidewalk after me saying "do you like your new funny shoes mommy?" We had a blast!

Then we went over to Target to get him a scooter. It took him a long time to pick the one he did (can you imagine...there were like 5 different types?!? What a tough decision for a 2-year-old!) He was so torn between the radio flyer and a sponge bob one. I'm glad he chose the red one...I don't much like sponge bob.

Today we went to farm country with his two cousins Maddox and Brennan. Those boys always have so much fun together, despite their constant teasing one another. Last time Maddox went there he came home with a bad case of Guardia so we made sure they washed their hands really well after, followed by a healthy dose of hand sanitizer. Luke ate a couple pieces of corn off the ground...so cross your fingers for us!
