Let me first start by saying I am laughing right now, thinking about the Friday we have experienced. I would swear it was Friday the thirteenth by the agenda that we had...heres how it went:
1. I decided to go to the women's Expo at UVU today, so I packed the kids and off we went. As we were walking towards the building from our awesome parking space which was a mile and 1/2 away...BAM! There we were, on the sidewalk crossing over a driveway and a lady in a great big pickup truck smashed into the stroller. Everyone is fine(with the exception of my bruised ribs), let me just get that out of the way so you are not worried...so the lady gets out of her car to make sure we were ok. I was crying and in shock because my children could have just died, but I did not see any blood or bones sticking out, and said we were fine, no ambulance needed. Then she said "oh good, because I have to go"...and off she drove. I was way too shaken up to get her plate number or not let her leave until the police arrived. So there I stood with two screaming babies, crying on a street corner. WOW.
2. We finally arrived home, i fed Luke lunch, and got him to sleep (or so I thought). I went downstairs to call the police and file a report for what had just happened. I thought I heard Luke walking around upstairs but assured myself that I was just being crazy, so I continued my conversation with the deputy, and then proceeded upstairs for a rest myself. I then smelled something out of place. poop in my bedroom. I saw a pair of tiny soiled whitey tighties on my floor, and found a little boy in the bathroom hiding in the corner. He said he had an accident, which I had already figured out by then, but that it was ok because he cleaned it up. He took off his underwear, picked the poop out of them, and placed it in the toilet. then he wiped his hands off on his shirt. He was so proud of himself that I could not possibly get mad at him.
3. not as big of a disaster...but Chet ordered mahi mahi tacos from Cafe rio, and we got them all the way home to realize that they were salmon. I called the manager, and he drove the correct order over to our house himself, free of charge...i love cafe rio.
4. I have never won anything in my entire life. so the radio station was giving away slc bees tickets for their final game tonight, so I texted in my name just for a laugh, and WON. lol...go bees. (you stink)
These are just a few little tidbits from our horrible terrible no good very bad day, hope you had a laugh. :0) I know we did.
