Happy 24th

Well, as you know it was Chet's birthday on Wednesday. He took the day off work to take a well-deserved break and celebrate. He works so hard, I am glad he was able to just relax and spend time with us. We woke up rather early (it's sort of unavoidable with two kids) and went to breakfast at IHOP. Chet got crepes that tasted like plastic, hehe. Then we came home gave him his presents (some desk organization things) and napped the afternoon away. We went to dinner with the Crosby clan, (mom, dad, Emma, Hollie, and Katie) at the Bombay house where Chet got an extra extra HOT dish. To end the evening we sang to him and ate Oreo ice cream cake! I got all the candles on the cake and realized we had no lighter or matches, so I had to run to the neighbors to borrow theirs! Oh, I almost forgot... right before bath and bed for Luke, Chet got to buzz his (Luke's) head, which he has been begging me to do for a long time and I just wouldn't budge. I figured we could let him have his way on his birthday. All in all, i think he had a pretty good day. We love him so much and wanted it to be special for him, and I think it was. Thanks everyone for calling and sending your wishes his way, I know that meant a lot.
