I don't know if any of you remember that band...they were awesome. But having 97 degree afternoons is a killer, let me just say. Especially with a swamp cooler and no a.c. in the car! Luke loves to be outside, but the afternoon sun hits us strong and hard in the faces when we sit on our porch for some outdoor fun. it's more like outdoor sweat and burns. There is nothing I love more than being outside by some water, so I thought I would instill the passion in my little ones as well. This is Luke's little pool that we set up under a shady tree on the grass of our front yard. :-)! Annie was not too fond of the heat as she was very sleepy. Needless to say it did not last long, but it WAS fun while it lasted! :-).
Other fun activities that we have been up to...on Saturday my sister Karyn and I took our kids hiking up by aspen grove. We had a lot of fun. Luke fell a few times and made me carry him half of the way up, and most of the way down. So I got a good arm work out too! :-). I love the mountains! I need to take advantage of it more often, they are so beautiful!

Once they start rolling, it's only a matter of time before they get a boyfriend, go to college and get married! Kidding....sort of! She looks cute in her glasses and call me next time you go on that hike. I'd love to go!
Remember the pool is always open, and we have ac. You know we love having you here. Time for Luke to get some swim lessons.
